Irakli Kobakhidze: There was a specific infringement, indifference, which led to a tragic result, a systemic problem is cannot be seen - in such a situation, talking about the political responsibility of Kakhi Kaladze is just a speculation

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, talking about the political responsibility of the Tbilisi Mayor due to the tragedy in Vake Park is "just a speculation and absolutely inappropriate".
As Kobakhidze told the journalists in response to the question, in general, the issue of political responsibility can arise if any systemic problem is revealed.
"In this case, we have a radically different picture. During these 5 years, under the leadership of Kakhi Kaladze, thousands of projects were implemented in Tbilisi City Hall, and these projects were distinguished by their high quality, both from a visual and technical point of view. Therefore, if there is no systemic problem, on the contrary, the projects are implemented successfully.
In this case, there was specific infringement, indifference, which led to a tragic result. As for the systemic problem, such a problem cannot be seen. In such a situation, talking about the political responsibility of the Mayor, Kakhi Kaladze, is just a speculation and absolutely inappropriate," said Kobakhidze.
As for the visit to the injured teenager, as Kobakhidze states, it was the responsibility of the Tbilisi Mayor, and he believes that the responses to the story are incorrect.
"The Mayor's visit to the child was an elementary responsibility. Regarding the posting of photos, why did the child post these photos and then bullying of the child, I think this is also wrong. As for Kakhi Kaladze, his visit to the child was a manifestation of the Mayor's responsibility," said Kobakhidze.
