Restrictions were imposed from the night of September 23, and around 03:30 in the city of Vladikavkaz, at the intersection of Moskovsky and Kosta avenues, traffic was stopped at the traffic police post. According to the author of one of the videos, the law enforcement officers do not allow cars to cross the border, because there is a traffic jam of several kilometers in front of "Zemo Larsi".

According to the information spread by Telegram channels, only cars with local license plates are allowed to the checkpoint, which is why some people go to the border of Georgia on foot, scooter, bicycle or pay local residents to bring them to the border.
