According to the Head of the International Affairs Committee of the Council of the Russian Federation, Grigory Karasin, he discussed the so-called "referendum" planned in "South Ossetia" with Georgian colleagues, TASS reports.

"We talked about it briefly. This is one of the issues that worries our Georgian partners, we are watching it closely," Karasin told the agency.

At the same time, according to TASS, Alan Gagloev, the "winner of South Ossetia's presidential elections," told the agency that the "referendum" should be held when Moscow says it is time.

The so-called "incumbent president" of occupied South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, appointed the "referendum" on unification with Russia for July 17.
