Javier Colomina: NATO does not recognize the so-called elections in occupied South Ossetia

NATO does not recognize the so-called elections in occupied South Ossetia, said Javier Colomina, NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

According to him, NATO supports the territorial integrity of Georgia.

"NATO does not recognize the legitimacy of the elections which took place on Sunday in the Georgian region of South Ossetia. The Alliance continues to support Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders," Colomina tweeted.
