PACE supports Russia’s exclusion

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe unanimously voted for the exclusion of Russia.

216 members voted for the decision, 0 voted against and 3 abstained.

The final decision on Russia's expulsion from the organization will be made by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on March 17.

Earlier it was reported that Russia handed over the decision to officially leave the Council of Europe to the Secretary General of the Organization.
