Charles Michel: We will discuss Ukraine’s membership application in coming days

European Council President Charles Michel says Ukraine's application for EU membership will be considered in the coming days.

Michel wrote about it on Twitter.

"Continued close contact with President Volodymyr Zelensky. The EU stands firmly by Ukraine’s side in efforts to alleviate humanitarian suffering inflicted by Russia’s aggression and ensure nuclear safety.

The EU’s solidarity, friendship and unprecedented assistance for Ukraine are unwavering. We will discuss Ukraine’s membership application in coming days," he wrote.
