Zelensky: Ukraine has submitted its application against Russia to the ICJ

Ukraine has submitted its application against Russia to the ICJ, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky writes on Twitter.

"Russia must be held accountable for manipulating the notion of genocide to justify aggression. We request an urgent decision ordering Russia to cease military activity now and expect trials to start next week," Zelensky wrote.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia's actions - bombing kindergartens, residential areas and non-military infrastructure zones - are showing signs of genocide.
