Volodymyr Zelensky: If there had been no aggressive action from the territory of Belarus, we could have talked in Minsk - negotiations can be held in other cities

According to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, the talks in Minsk would be possible if Russia did not attack Ukraine from the territory of Belarus.
"If there was no aggressive action from your territory, we could have talked to Minsk. Other cities can be used as a place for negotiations. Of course, we want peace, we want a meeting, we want an end to the war. Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul, Baku - we offered them to the Russians. We were open for any other city - a country from whose territory missiles are not fired at us. This is the only way to have genuine negotiations and end the war," Zelensky said in an address to the people of Belarus.
For reference, Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the Russian delegation had already arrived in Belarus for negotiations with the Ukrainians.
