State Security Service: Despite numerous categorical demands, the perpetrators of Giga Otkhozoria's murder have not been punished

Despite numerous categorical demands by the Georgian central government and international partners, the perpetrators of Giga Otkhozoria's murder have not been punished by the decision of the Russian occupation forces, - the State Security Service says in a statement.

According to the statement, the central government of Georgia uses all the levers at its disposal, international formats and tools to bring the perpetrators to justice.

"The brutal murder of Giga Otkhozoria, a citizen of Georgia, on May 19, 2016, clearly showed the inhuman and criminal face of the occupation regime. This has severely damaged the security environment along the occupation line and in the occupied territories and has once again shown the dire consequences of the occupation.

Despite numerous categorical demands by the Georgian central government and international partners, the perpetrators of Giga Otkhozoria's murder have not been punished by the decision of the Russian occupation forces.

Georgia's central government is using all the levers, international formats and tools at its disposal to bring the perpetrators to justice," reads the statement.
