State Security Service activates hotline in connection with detention of resident of Gugutiantkari village by occupation regime

The State Security Service has activated a hotline in connection with the detention of a resident of the village of Gugutiantkari, Gori Municipality, by representatives of the occupation regime in the occupied area near the same village.

"On February 2 of this year, representatives of the occupation regime illegally detained a resident of the village of Gugutiantkari, Gori municipality, in the occupied area near the village. The hotline has been activated in connection with the illegal detention. The EUMM, as well as international partners, has been informed of the detention. The illegal detentions significantly worsen the security environment along the occupation line, as well as in the occupied territories, and complicate the daily life of the local population. Active work is underway to release the illegally detained person immediately," the statement said.
