The President of Armenia tests positive for coronavirus

Armenian President Armen Sargsyan has been diagnosed with coronavirus, reports local media.

"Armen Sargsyan celebrated the New Year in London with his family and grandchildren. On January 3, he underwent leg surgery, which was successfully completed. In addition, the president showed symptoms of a new strain of coronavirus. The test result for him was positive. Sargsyan is in self-isolation and is temporarily continuing his activities remotely", - the press service of the President's residence said.
