Such tragic events should also serve as a reminder of why the protracted conflicts in Georgia and Moldova also require our close attention and political commitment on our part, - stated Swedish Foreign Minister Anne Linde in her speech at the 27th session of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
Linde spoke of the unresolved problems in the region and the "tragic loss of life" caused by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Swedish diplomat expressed hope that the problem in Nagorno-Karabakh would finally be resolved. According to Linde, the tragic event in Nagorno-Karabakh should become a reminder of why the protracted conflicts in Georgia and Moldova need close attention.
For the record, the 27th session of the OSCE Council of Ministers was opened by the current Chairman of the Organization, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, from Tirana today. The virtual ministerial will last for two days.
