Poland and Lithuania summon diplomats from Belarus

Poland and Lithuania have summoned diplomats from Belarus, - reports Reuters.

According to the Polish Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, the Belarusian government has demanded a decrease in the number of staff at the embassy, as a result of which 30 diplomats are returning to Poland from Belarus.

Official Minsk has made a similar request to Lithuania, prompting the return of five diplomats from Belarus to Vilnius. Belarus itself last week summoned diplomats from both countries.

For reference, Belarus accuses neighboring Poland and Lithuania of interfering in the internal affairs of the country.
