BBC : 103 healthcare workers have died from coronavirus in the UK

Another 616 have died with the coronavirus across the UK, the health secretary has said.

A total of 18,738 have now died.

Speaking at the government's afternoon briefing, Matt Hancock said a total of 583,496 tests have now been carried out in the UK.

A total of 138,078 have tested positive, which is an increase of 4,583 since yesterday.

Analysis by BBC News suggests some 103 healthcare workers are now believed to have died from coronavirus across the UK. 53 were men, 49 women.
