So-called presidential elections will be held on March 22 in occupied Abkhazia, so-called central election commission said on Sunday.

The “commission” “chairman” said the “law” allows all “candidates”, including those who have already participated and new ones, to run for “president”.

Protests started in Abkhazia on January 9, when demonstrators broke into the so-called presidential administration building demanding resignation of de-facto president Raul Khadjimba. On January 10, the “court of cassation” annulled the results of the second round of the September 8 “presidential elections.”
