Tskhinvali to close the only checkpoint at the so-called border with the rest of Georgia during New Year's Days

According to the so-called South Ossetian de-facto security committee, they will close the only checkpoint at the so-called border with the rest of Georgia during the New Year's Days, - the Res agency reports.

"Traffic will be temporarily suspended at the Kardzmani section of the South Ossetian-Georgian state border from 20:00 on 30 December till 06:00 on 3 January," reads the statement.

According to the agency, two other “border” crossing points were closed as early as September because of the tense situation at the “border”.
