Georgian doctor sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in prison in occupied Tskhinvali

Tskhinvali occupation regime sentenced illegally detained Georgian doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili to 1 year and 9 months of imprisonment, Davit Asatiani, the lawyer of the Georgian Bar Association, wrote on his Facebook page.

Georgian doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili was arrested and charged with “illegally crossing the border” on December 9. So-called court sentenced him to two-month pretrial custody on December 13.
