Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria officially recognizes autocephaly of Ukrainian Orthodox Church

The Patriarchate of Alexandria Theodore has officially recognized the autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church as the Patriarch remembered in prayer Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, ukrinform has reported.

Reportedly, Patriarch Theodore remembered in prayer Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine during the liturgy in Cairo.

About one year ago, the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was recognized by the Greek Church, due to this decision the Patriarchate of Russia cut communion with the Greek Church.
