Ossetian media: De facto parliament speaker of South Ossetia views construction of Georgian police checkpoint in Sinaguri

Alan Tadtaev, de facto parliament speaker of South Ossetia, visited the village of Sinaguri in Java district, where he viewed the construction of the Georgian police checkpoint near the village. The press service of the so-called "South Ossetian" Parliament informed the Res agency about the above.

According to the agency, locals of Sinaguri complained about the resumption of efforts aimed at opening the Georgian police checkpoint in the suburbs of the village on August 25. The “MPs” are going to study the situation together with the border guards and determine the location of the "border".

Earlier, the KGB of the de facto South Ossetian authorities reported that the Georgian side was trying to provoke tensions on that section of the “border”. According to them, such actions by the Georgian authorities are "provocative and do not help stabilize the situation on the border between South Ossetia and Georgia."
