Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting to be held in Ergneti today

An Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting will be held in Ergneti today. The meeting will start at 14:00.
The meeting between the Georgian side and the occupation regime will be of a technical nature. It is already known that the dismantlement of a police checkpoint near the village of Chorchana will not be discussed at the meeting. As the Georgian side states, the checkpoint is in the Georgian-controlled territory and its dismantlement is not on the agenda.
At the last meeting, the parties agreed not to take any steps that would lead to an escalation of the situation. The last meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism focused on the so-called borderization process in Gugutiantkari.
