The South Ossetian side has expressed a firm protest against Georgia's provocative actions and demonstrated the provocative nature of official Tbilisi's actions based on factual cartographic and other materials.

We regret that Georgia's disinterest in a constructive dialogue and the lack of appropriate response from the international community, including the European Union and the OSCE, could lead to a repetition of tragic events like the 2008 Georgian aggression. Georgia's very dangerous actions on the South Ossetian border are the result of the counterproductive position of Georgian side, ignoring its commitment of non-us of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia, " so-called the South Ossetian embassy said in the press release.

According to the so-called embassy, South Ossetia, which supports peaceful methods of resolving relations with Georgia, calls on international structures to address Georgia's actions, while reserving the right to "protect its territory and its citizens from aggressors."
