De-facto foreign ministry assesses construction of checkpoint at occupation line as " aggravation of situation deliberately and demonstrably"

The ministry of foreign affairs of breakaway South Ossetia has assessed the construction of the checkpoint by the Georgian side at the occupation line as "aggravation of the situation deliberately and demonstrably ".
The de-facto ministry released a statement explaining that the Georgian side's actions may destabilize the situation not only on the “Georgian-South Ossetian” border, but in the entire region.
"Georgia's provocative steps towards the South Ossetian Republic, including the increased presence of Georgian law enforcement agencies along the entire perimeter of the South Ossetian - Georgian border, are the cause for serious concern of the South Ossetian foreign ministry.
South Ossetia categorically demands the immediate withdrawal of all Georgian military formations and suspension of illegal construction. Otherwise, due to the deliberate aggravation of the situation, the Georgian government and its western curators will be fully responsible for all possible consequences, "the statement reads.
Self-recognized “South Ossetia” compares the recent situation to situation prior to the 2008 Georgian-Russo August war and calls on the EUMM and Geneva International co-chairs to give due reaction on the recent developments.
