Russian prisoner beats Georgian inmate to death in Greek prison

A Russian prisoner has beaten a Georgian inmate to death in Greek prison, - the Greek media has reported.

Reportedly, the incident occurred at Nigrita Prison on Saturday.

The two men, the 43-year-old Russian and 35-year-old Georgian prisoner, were convicted of robbery, while the cause of the confrontation is not yet known.

The injured Georgian was taken to the hospital where his death was recorded.
