Donald Trump calls those who continue to probe his connections to Russia “sick”

President Donald Trump tore into his Democratic House investigators on Thursday night, perpetuating a verbal assault he launched after Robert Mueller's Russia probe concluded without finding a criminal conspiracy between Trump's campaign and Russia, Politico reports.

Speaking at a rally in Grand Rapids, Mich. — Trump's first since the special counsel submitted his report — the president railed against the Democratic House committee chairs who continue to probe Trump's connections to Russia, his business dealings and his inaugural committee.

As he has in recent days, Trump directed the most of his ire at House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.

"Little pencil-necked Adam Schiff," Trump said of the California Democrat. "He's got the smallest, thinnest neck I've ever seen. He is not a long-ball hitter."
