Occupied Sokhumi detains Georgian citizen for “spying”

We have detained a citizen of Georgia on espionage charges, - de-facto security service of occupied Abkhazia has said.

According to their information, a hand grenade, bullets and an electric detonator are seized during the search of the detainee. The “security service” claims criminal proceedings have been launched against the Georgian citizen suspected of spying.

So-called Sokhumi court sentenced the detainee to 2-month pre-trial imprisonment.
