Protesters block road on Heroes' Square

Citizens have blocked the road from Heroes' Square to Varaziskhevi during the rally against the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence".

At the rally called "Picketing - noise for freedom!" Citizens have gathered since 18:00, their goal is to completely picket Heroes Square.

At the moment, law enforcement officers are trying to regulate the situation on the road, moving citizens from the roadway to the sidewalk and allowing vehicles to move.

As the law enforcers told the gathered citizens, blocking the road is illegal and is possible only if the number of participants in the rally requires it.

"Blocking the road is prohibited by law. If the number of participants in the rally requires it, only then will you have the right to block the road, in agreement with us", the law enforcement officer told the activists.
