Tear gas used to disperse protesters on Rustaveli Avenue last night

In order to disperse the participants of the rally on Rustaveli Avenue, the special forces used gas several times last night.

The tear gas was used after protesters threw water bottles and various objects at the special forces.

Periodically, there were clashes between the law enforcement officers and protesters. The participants in the rally were arrested, although the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet spoken about their exact number.

In addition, protesters blocked Rustaveli Avenue with trash cans, chairs and barricades. They were chanting: "Slaves, slaves”; “No to Russian law.”
