That is why they talk so that the fragile unity does not collapse, - the leader of Strategy Builder, Giorgi Vashadze, stated on Palitrannews TV, when he responded to Irakli Kobakhidze's statement about the opposition's connection with the "deep state" and attempts to involve Georgia in the war.

Vashadze calls Kobakhidze's statement a lie and says that Georgian Dream has no evidence.

“Earlier there wass a war party, now it’s “deep state” – these people have nothing more to talk about. They can’t talk to people about real problems. Georgian Dream has a strategy to talk nonsense every day, because they have addicted their own audience to this nonsense like a drug. If they stop these lies for even one day, people will start to wake up. All this is part of the criminal cases initiated by the prosecutor’s office, the laws they are initiating, the investigative commission, the rudeness towards Western politicians,” Vashadze said.

According to him, the opposition “needs an organized, common campaign” against the propaganda of Georgian Dream.

In addition, Vashadze spoke about the importance of opposition unity and stated that he is in favor of “great unity.”

As for the fact that Giorgi Gakharia’s party opposes the unification of the opposition, Vashadze says that they are under the National Movement complex and this complex prevents the great unity of the opposition.

As for the coordination of the opposition around the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, Giorgi Vashadze said that Zurabishvili has the opportunity to play the role of a unifier.

"I think Salome Zurabishvili has the opportunity to play the role of a unifier. To free herself and all others from the National Movement complexes that the Georgian Dream has imposed on this society and especially on politicians, and to lead the process towards systemic, fundamental, deep unity. In my opinion, this is her historical task. If she can do this, the society will thank her. We, the political forces, have invested quite a lot in her for her to have this role. You also remember the signing of the Georgian Charter. This Charter should have continued with a single, large consolidation. The scale of fraud that the Georgian Dream was able to achieve, if we had been united in the last elections, it would not have been able to achieve. Today, she still has this resource. Coordination is good, but it seems that it is not enough. The sooner unity is achieved, the sooner we will win. Without unity, without coordination, this process will drag on. We will achieve victory, but the process will drag on," said Giorgi Vashadze.
