Tamara Chergoleishvili, one of the leaders of the "Federation" party, stated that, following Salome Zurabishvili's initiative, a "common coordinating front" will be created to prepare for new elections.
Additionally, as Chergoleishvili mentioned in her statement to the media after the meeting between Salome Zurabishvili and opposition representatives, Zurabishvili is preparing for a protest rally on March 31.

When asked whether they would participate in local government elections, Chergoleishvili stated that even discussing or mentioning local government elections would negatively affect the protest mood. She also called it "madness."
"We consider it completely absurd to declare that we will participate in local elections when we are preparing for new parliamentary elections. Achieving new parliamentary elections is possible if we succeed and this crisis gains substance, as demanded by the protest. If we start talking about local elections ourselves, it will negatively affect the protest mood. This is madness. We did not create the crisis. The protest, which is in the streets, created the crisis. Their demand is not participation in local elections, not even discussing it," said Chergoleishvili.
