"We have unprecedented support from Germany," stated Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, after the meeting between German Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael Roth and the opposition.
According to Vashadze, German partners expect "even more activity, more protests, and greater unity" from Georgians.
"We have unprecedented support from Germany. The protests of the Georgian people are yielding very serious results because, for the first time, Germany is taking unilateral decisions regarding Georgia without waiting for Brussels, even concerning visa restrictions on the nine individuals who were sanctioned. Other mechanisms, including the activation of the 'Weimar Triangle' mechanisms, may also come into play. They expect even more activity, more protests, and greater unity from us, which you will surely see in the near future. Many working formats have already been initiated by political parties, with various documents being prepared," Giorgi Vashadze stated.
