MIA: 25 citizens of foreign countries, who participated in the November-December protests, have been expelled from the country

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Migration Department expelled 25 foreign citizens who participated in the November-December protests.

According to the department, in November-December of this year, a total of 91 citizens of various countries were expelled from Georgia.

“Among the expelled persons, against whom the deportation procedure was initiated by the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are foreign citizens who participated in the protests in Tbilisi in November-December of this year and were subjected to various administrative penalties by the court - a total of 25 persons. Of these, 10 foreign citizens have already left the territory of Georgia,” the information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs says.

For information, in 2024, the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs expelled 430 foreign citizens from Georgia, which is 126% more than the indicator of the same period of the previous year.
