Whether there is a need for it or not, they have moved on to brutal methods of punishment, so the protest will continue, will be bigger and larger, until we get a concrete result - new elections, the country's return to the path of European integration, and most importantly, the prisoners must be released, - about this, "Strong Georgia" Leader Mamuka Khazaradze told journalists in the yard of TSU, where the participants of the rally are gathering.
According to him, "Georgian Dream" and Bidzina Ivanishvili are in complete agony.
"Today's, yesterday's and the day before yesterday's actions are aimed at not giving this country to Bidzina Ivanishvili and his criminal gang, this illegitimate government in Russia. This is a coup d'état, a constitutional coup, which has been going on for several years in Georgia and has already reached a critical point after the rigged and hijacked elections. We are all witnessing this, although they and Bidzina Ivanishvili, who is in complete agony and has criminals brought out on the street, did not expect such opposition from the Georgian people, especially the youth. We have young people who were born in free Georgia and they want a future with the developed countries, where their rights will be protected, where the courts are normal, there is no violence, and there are no raids that we see every day. Is there a need for it, or not - they have switched to harsh punishment methods. Therefore, the protest will continue, will be bigger and larger, until we get a concrete result - new elections, the country's return to the path of European integration. The most important thing is to release the prisoners, young people who were put in prison by provocation and various methods", said Mamuka Khazaradze.
Participants of the rally are gathering in the yard of Tbilisi State University.
They will organize a protest march to the parliament.
The demand of the participants of the protest is still the appointment of new elections and the release of the citizens arrested during the protest.
