Mikheil Sarjveladze: During the past day and night, 37 people were taken to clinics from the rallies

According to the Minister of Health, Mikheil Sarjveladze, during the past day and night, 37 people were taken to clinics from the rallies.

As he told journalists after the end of the government session, the injured citizens do not have life- or health-threatening injuries.

"So far, during the last night, 37 people have been transferred to clinics. There is no dangerous or noteworthy situation with respect to any of them.

Out of these 37 people, 24 people are protestors, 12 people are policemen, who were also transferred. We must say that the injuries that the policemen have are quite severe, they have more injuries than the citizens. Police officers have injuries caused by, among other things, being thrown by heavy metal objects, etc. We are talking about serious and dangerous injuries. I urge everyone to protect not just peace and law and order, but also each other's health. It is important for everyone to understand that aiming pyrotechnics at people, while we have repeatedly told the public that this is a dangerous product, is harmful. People should be careful to take care of other people's lives and health", said Mikheil Sarjveladze.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
