The election administration appeals the decisions of the district courts of Tetritskaro and Gori to the appeals court.
CEC disseminates the relevant information.
"The election administration responds to the decision of the Tetritskaro district court on the annulment of the results of the election precincts in Tsalka and Tetritskaro municipalities. With the mentioned decision, the judge annulled the results of 18 election precincts included in Tsalka electoral district #25 and 13 election precincts included in Tetritskaro electoral district #26.
The election administration considers the decision of the Tetritskaro District Court to be unjustified and does not agree with the decision to annul the results of the above-mentioned election precincts of Tsalka and Tetritskaro municipalities. In addition, the said decision clearly contradicts all other disputes on the same issue in the courts of first instance.
Accordingly, the decision made by the Tetritskaro District Court on November 4 will be appealed to the Court of Appeal. District election commissions will submit appeals in accordance with the law.
In addition, the election administration has already appealed the decision of the Gori District Court to the Court of Appeal, according to which the Gori District Election Commission No. 32 was ordered to re-count the invalid ballots of 15 election precincts in the same district.
We remind the public that the secrecy of the vote is ensured by a special frame form, the use of which, in accordance with the instructions, excludes the identification of the will of the voter. Marker marks on the back of the ballot paper, if any, given the purpose of the frame form, cannot be considered to identify the will. It should also be noted that on the day of voting on this issue and the next day, only 7 complaints were submitted throughout the country, and none of the conclusions of any international organization has confirmed the violation of the secrecy of the election", - it is noted in the information.
