Nika Gvaramia: The return of democracy is not only the responsibility of parties, society, non-governmental organizations, but also centers of influence, so-called influencers - we have collected up to 50 tents, I call on everyone to help us

The return of democracy in Georgia is the right and obligation not only of political parties, but also of society, non-governmental organizations, but also centers of influence, so-called influencers - we have already collected up to 50 tents and I want to call on everyone to help us - one of the leaders of "Coalition for Change" Nika Gvaramia told about this to journalists after a meeting with representatives of various public groups regarding the protests.

According to him, despite the fact that the current process is political and "leadership" belongs to the political spectrum, only the opinion of politicians is not decisive and the attitude of the public should be known.

"Today's event directly shows that the return of democracy in Georgia, the return of the reins of governance to the people of Georgia is not only the right and responsibility of the society, non-governmental organizations, but also centers of influence, so-called influencers - everyone. I talk about "influencers" because everyone has their own influence, everyone can give people a voice. We need maximum involvement. The political spectrum is a little behind society - we have to admit that. Therefore, we need a critical attitude and decisions made accordingly. We are not alone in this country. This is a political process and "leadership" belongs to the political spectrum, but this does not mean that only our opinion is decisive. We need to know the attitude of our society. Georgian society is much closer to the European Union than all of us.

As for the tents, we have announced the "Tents for Georgia" campaign, this is our logistics campaign of the coalition. This does not mean that only we alone will make the decision regarding setting up tents on the street. This is a unanimously acceptable decision of the opposition - the opposition that will soon become the government. But we have a logistical task and have already collected up to 50 tents. I want to call everyone to help us, this will be the service of our motherland and a common goal", said Gvaramia.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
