We should especially thank all the international observers who observed the election process in our country. Especially, the OSCE/ODIHR, which had a special role in the observation process, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced this at the government meeting.
As he mentioned, the opponents of the government did not like the positive report of the OSCE/ODIHR regarding the elections.
"Of course, the role of international observers was very important in this process. Of course, we must express special thanks to all international observers who observed the election process in our country. In particular, OSCE/ODIR, which had a special role in the observation process, became the main mission of OSCE/ODIHR. We saw that our opponents became dissatisfied with the assessment made by OSCE/ODIHR regarding the elections. We often hear statements from our opponents that when it comes to European partners, even criticism is not allowed there. In this case, our opponents came out and directly challenged the main monitoring mission, the OSCE/ODIHR mission, because they did not like the summary report. "I observed that the opposition channels cut off the respective press conference in the middle, they were so dissatisfied with the positive evaluations regarding the elections," said Kobakhidze.
